Higor Figueira Ferreira

Researcher associated with LEHA / UFRJ is a professor at Colégio Pedro II (São Cristóvão Unit), also working on post-graduate courses in Portuguese. Graduated with a bachelor's degree and a degree in History from the History Institute (2011), Master in Education (Graduate Program in Education at UFRJ in the Curriculum and Language line, 2014) and Doctorate in Comparative History, from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2020). His current research focuses on the experiences of literate instruction involving slaves, freedmen and free men in Rio de Janeiro in the 19th century.
